I'm not sure if the staff or service expectations have changed since many of the 5-star reviews they have received. I found this establishment to be unprofessional, dishonest, and not genuinely interested in helping people. I would recommend that you really do your homework, maybe ask to sit in a session before you give them a dime.

This center changed my life. I have learned so much about myself as well as how to manage stress/anxiety/hardship within my life. I feel so much more hopeful for the life I have to live ahead of me and at every moment I felt supported and cared for. If you are lost or having a hard time in life there is hope and there are others out there who can related and validate what you are going through and feeling. I feel like I’ve been set up for long term success and I know I can always call them back if I am having another low point that I need help handling. Your life is precious and you deserve to feel as though it is, never be afraid to reach out for help❤️

I want to begin this with a preface that this review is seen through the lens of my eyes and totally my perspective. My experience at Sojourn was less than thrilling. After thinking about it I am still unsure where to begin with the faults of this center. Though I keep coming back to one thing and one thing only. A recollection of a conversation a fellow patient had with a new patient. It had to do with medicine prescribed by the in house psychiatrist. I like many had several issues obtaining our meds. In fact I went a week without my medicine being filled. But the new patient in this instance was given a fair warning that medicine may not be readily available to them as the prescription process is a debacle. The fact that the therapist agreed was perplexing.Group would never start on time and the processing therapist set the tone for this as she herself would arrive and begin group late. At times the day did not adhere to a schedule and for weeks some went weeks without any time spent over skills. Luckily a therapist Kim took over the group momentarily and provided us with proper care. Sad to learn she is not longer there. In fact she is the only reason I am providing this center with two stars cause without her I would be giving this place 0 stars. I wouldn’t recommend it and plan on letting everyone know in my life to avoid this place if your seeking mental health care. I could go on and on and on about how awful this center was but there are certainly not enough lines in here to explain all. This place doesn’t put an emphasis on care for its patients. The staff is a huge issue from Leslie to the in house psychiatrist. The medicine situation is ridiculous. They don’t teach you proper skills. All they do is print out packets and read them to you which is definitely not everyone’s mode of learning. I was able to make connections with some of the patients there and will forever cherish those friendships. That is the only thing I can take from this center. Please do yourself a favor and just avoid this place.

I have worked with The Sojourn Center for the past 6+ years. I know them to be a solid and robust clinical program for many of my clients from my intervention practice, sober living program and participants from our Mental Health Court. The willingness the staff demonstrates to stretch out and tailor their approach to different clients struggling with different diagnoses is special and beyond my experience with other outpatient programs. I also greatly appreciate the inclusion and collaboration with the families of their clients. I would never hesitate to refer someone to Sojourn for clinical services and can’t say enough about the programming there. Huge thank you to Leslie and her entire staff for being an incredible resource for individuals struggling with mental health and their families both clinically and ethically.
